Three-Spouted Vase

A wheel thrown and altered vase, with protruding spouts for cut flower stems. This piece is fully glazed and holds water.

After finalising the form, this piece was brushed with a thick slip made from the same clay body. This has resulted in a raised and textured surface beneath the smooth white glaze, informed by the heavily painted ironwork railings seen around Brighton and Hove.

£80

Height ~20cm
Width ~12.5cm at widest point

Photograph of a white flower vase with multiple openings for flowers. The vase is placed on a white plinth. The vase contains an array of brightly coloured flowers in a bountiful display, including: pink and yellow peonies, blue hydrangeas, yellow gerberas, violet agapanthus, and coral-coloured carnations. Some small dried white flower heads have fallen onto the surface of the plinth at the base of the vase.
