This stoneware ceramic vase is part of an ongoing series of works that explores my interest in the details of public spaces.

Decorated across its surface with swirling coils and and slab-built, oversize spikes, the details of this piece reference ornate street furniture and elements of hostile architecture. It has been finished with layered glazed and oxides, resulting in a rich deep blue colour.
